The setting for this isn't available in the regular options. You need to type "about:config" in the address bar. Search for "tab" and you'll see the nefarious setting. Right-click to reset it. You can also search through the registry. I would *not* recommend installing a special purpose cleaner app. They'll probably give you more viruses.
