Q. putty: How to save per-session settings changes
A. Follow these steps:
- Load an already saved session.
By selecting the session and pressing [Load]
- Click on what you want to change.
By clicking on the "Category" tree of settings on the left.
Make your changes.
- But now what?
There is no [OK] or [Apply] etc button.
Clicking on [X] discards your change.
- The way is to click on "Session" in the "Category" tree.
This takes you back to where you loaded the session.
Now you can press the [Save] button on the right.
