Q. I want to often process a file with a certian program in Windows.
Whats a good way to do this?
A. Add a shortcut to your program in:
c:\Documents and Settings\CURRENT-USER\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\SendTo (XP)
c:\users\CURRENT-USER\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\SendTo (Vista)
(Where CURRENT-USER is the current user)
Then when Exploring a folder you do right-click | Send To
to process a file with your program.
Very handy.
