Q.  How do I upgrade my laptop's hard drive?

A.  This video by CNET is the best I found

For a PC the steps are:

- Burn Clonezilla to a CD-ROM and boot from it.

- Plug your new drive into the laptop via a USB enclosure.

- Clone your existing drive with Clonezilla.

- Physically replace the drive.

- Reboot.
