Browse - computer tips - two different in and out points for a clip adobe premiere

Date: 2010jun25
Product: Adobe Premiere

Q. How can I have two different pairs of in and out points for a clip?

A. There are several ways to do this but this is how I achieve it:

- Drag the source clip from the Project Window to the Source Window

- Right click and select "Make Subclip"

- Do that again - ie
Right click and select "Make Subclip"

- Right click on each subclip in the Project Window and rename them
  so something meaningful to you.

- Drag the first subclip from the the Project Window to the Source Window
and adjust its in and out points.

- Drag the second subclip from the the Project Window to the Source Window
and adjust its in and out points.

- Now you can place the subclips on your Timeline.
