Date: 2005Jun29 Q. When trying to secure shell (ssh) from Linux I got this error: ssh_exchange_identification: Connection closed by remote host What's it mean? A. We got it once when the host (ie computer running sshd) had our IP-Address in /etc/hosts.deny. There may be other causes.
