Q. Which RAID level should I used for digital videos?
A.
RAID level 0 (aka "striped set")
is what you want for video applications.
Also the more disks in the RAID unit the faster access is.
Of course, fast disks help too.
If you aren't using RAID at least use SCSI instead of IDE.
If you are using RAID make sure it's SCSI-connected.
