Date: 2010mar17

Q. How can I connect to a remote MySQL database?

A. This command line does just that:

	mysql --host=<HOST> --user=<USER> --password=<PASSWORD> --port=3306

Of course, replace <HOST>, <USER> and <PASSWORD> with the real values.
Port 3306 is the default so you don't need to use that option if it is on that
port.
