Q. How do I do /something/ with Sendmail?

A. I gave up on sendmail a long time ago.
I now use Postfix http://www.postfix.org.
I have also heard good things about Qmail http://www.qmail.org

Postfix was originally written by a guy at IBM and is GPLed.
An rpm is now included with RedHat -- but I used it before it was.
