Q.  How do I delete a service from Services in the Control Panel?

A.  The services you see in there correspond to

	HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services

Using regedit, delete the items you don't want to see any more.
Of course, take care not to delete useful services!

The items will not be removed from the Control Panel until you reboot.
