Q. How can I make my fonts look nicer?

A. If you are using Windows Vista with an LCD monitor you should turn on
   "ClearType".

   Control Panel -> Personalization -> Window Color and Appearance -> 
   Open classic properties for more color options -> Effects

   [X] Use the following method to smooth edges of screen fonts: [ClearType]

   They don't make it easy do they.
